VerifiedThere wasn't as much character work in this episode as the previous one aside from the dream and short exposition with the purple-haired girl (not great with names). It felt a little disappointing for me, especially since the character interactions were what I enjoyed the most.

I did not expect Spica's magic training to involve farming so much but it really worked to show her growth and skill acquisition. The way she and Aria begrudgingly teamed up against the golem showed smart writing and made the climax exciting. It was a solid episode that effectively established the world and characters. Very well done.
