The gang returns back to Paris for a more lighthearted episode before the next arc. Kinda funny seeing both Vanitas and Jeanne being lovesick with one of them being absolutely miserable while the other is on cloud 9.

Yeah, this episode feels like a proper bridge after the Gévaudan arc, with a much more relaxed and funny tone focusing on Vanitas and Jeanne’s interactions. It’s super lovey-dovey and honestly a nice break after all those stressful episodes, but then, what the hell was that ending 😭😭 I was just enjoying the fluff and suddenly it turns like that. Overall, it’s a really good bridge episode with a crazy cliffhanger to kick off the next arc.

Vanitas takes a more serious role here, showing a different side while anitas takes a more serious role here, showing a different side while Noé supports in his own way. The stakes feel more personal. One line hits harder than expected.
