We finally get some Vanitas backstory and hoo boy. First half of the episode is a rough watch emotionally. Luna is an interesting character for sure. Yet another great episode.

Definitely what I’ve been waiting for, the backstory of Vanitas. I’ve always been intrigued by his past and his encounters with the Blue Moon Vampire. It’s honestly a great episode, clearing up many of the mysteries surrounding his character and making it easier to understand why he became who he is. It’s a must-watch episode and a very good flashback making it a step closer into unveiling the secret of the original blue Moon vampire, never been this hyped before!!!

Everything feels darker around Vanitas, with Noé caught in the middle. The atmosphere is heavy from start to finish. A chilling sequence shifts how you view things.
