EPISODE REVIEWS

The episode is slow but is good to watch showing the qualities of the girls and their dreams, talent. In this episode Riho's hardwork and Akane's talent are commendable.

Episode Context

Coming off the high-energy Cherry Blossom Festival in Episode 4, this fifth episode marks the season's midpoint pivot, a deliberate cooldown that invests in Riho and Akane's individual depth before the back half escalates. It functions as essential groundwork, establishing personal stakes and motivations that will pay off as relationships become more complicated in episodes 6 through 12. Without this character foundation, the romantic and comedic developments ahead would land with far less impact.
