This movie felt deep and emotional. Mahito’s journey was slow but meaningful, with strong visuals and a mysterious world. The heron’s behavior was strange but important. It mixes grief, fantasy, and self-discovery really well.

This movie is a VIBE. the animation is classic Ghibli every frame feels alive. the pacing is slow but hypnotic. the world-building is weird and wonderful. feels like a fever dream you don't want to wake from. the heron is equal parts creepy and hilarious. classic Miyazaki. 🌿

Mahito’s journey hits in a quiet, heavy way, grief sits in every silence, not just the big moments. The fantasy doesn’t comfort, it forces him to face it. It’s strange, emotional, and a bit disorienting, but that’s what makes it feel real. The animation is superb and classic.

The animation is stunning as always, and the soundtrack really stands out. The episode is intriguing and keeps you curious, even if some parts are a bit confusing. I didn’t fully grasp everything, but it was still enjoyable from start to finish.

This movie is like a beautiful, cryptic dream having stunning visuals and BGM but felt pacing is very slow for me(even though I watched other Studio Ghibli movies). It feels more like a poem than a classic Ghibli adventure. SKIP if you want a tight and adventurous vibe!

This is an unusual, imaginative, subtle cartoon that borders on a dream and has its own wisdom. The narrative is pleasantly suspenseful, the ideas are profound, and the children's experiences are easy to understand—you empathize with the characters.

Great animation as always. I loved the overall plot but still I couldn't get much of insight as it was good but still flawed half of the story was hard to understand still make it to end and was good but I must say animation and it's soundtrack is so good loved it.

The animation is fabulous as always. The story is a bit hard to follow at first, it takes some time to see where it’s headed. Has a very fairytale-like feel.
