Synopsis

Night after night, Kengo is pulled into the same dream — a strange, surreal world where anthropomorphic women are attacked by monstrous creatures. Disturbing, vivid, and weirdly specific. He can't shake it, and the more it happens, the harder it gets to tell where the dream ends and reality begins. That blurring line is really what this 4-episode OVA from 2000 is about, even if the explicit content is front and center. Based on a visual novel by Mikimoto Production, it leans into dark fantasy with a psychological edge — the dream world has its own internal logic, and Kengo's connection to it feels like it means something, not just shock value window dressing. The character designs are distinctive, heavy on the anthropomorphic fantasy aesthetic, and the tone stays unsettling throughout rather than flipping into anything lighthearted. If you've watched something like Bible Black and appreciated when a hentai OVA actually bothers to build atmosphere and a weird, creepy premise, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Discipline: The Record of a Crusade who like their adult anime with a bit more narrative scaffolding might also find something here. It's not a deep psychological thriller — it's a short OVA from 2000 — but it commits to its dream-logic premise in a way that feels deliberate. Dark, strange, and a little hypnotic if that kind of unsettling fantasy tone works for you.
