The scenery is better than the last one & paced quite nicely. The plot intensifies & it’s definitely a must-watch.
That cliffhanger is perfect.

Arthur shows great promise, and I liked how the direction led the audience to understand how parents feel when they see their children grow. The journey was highlighted with key details. Short sequences of sparing made it more interesting. And, each character’s traits felt unique

The early animation shows the main character growing up very quickly. The pacing feels light and fun during the training scenes at home. The bright colors used for the magic effects look very nice.

Interesting so far. Arthur’s past life is still a bit unclear, but it shows enough to give a glimpse of what he was like before his reincarnation. That said, I’m looking forward to seeing more of his development. Overall good—the animation is okay, but the story makes up for it.

This ep is basically “baby Arthur commits morally grey war crimes (again)” but with actual introspection. That cliff scene? Insane. Action is solid, but pacing feels like it’s skipping dialogue checkpoints.

This episode does a great job of setting the stage. It introduces a character who carries a lot of weight from his past, and seeing how he adapts to a completely different reality is really interesting.

Animation improves a BIT XD, it picks up the family journey and adds some early tension. Pacing moves better as they head to the city. Tone balances cozy family moments with sudden danger.

Episode 2 deepens the mystery of Arthur’s past, introducing new characters who will shape his journey and those around him. The anime’s quality stays consistent, with smoother transitions enhancing the storytelling and keeping viewers eager for what comes next.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following Arthur's reincarnation and early adaptation in Episode 1, this second episode introduces the first real external threats to him and his family, establishing that danger will be a constant companion in this new life. It serves as a critical tonal pivot early in the 12-episode season, shifting from world-building into active conflict. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into Episode 3, 'Meeting the King,' where Arthur's journey appears to take a significant new direction.
