The episode gets slow at times, almost dragging in some scenes. Lucas remains as irritating as ever, while Arthur’s sadness after the dungeon tragedy is deeply noticeable. Overall, this one mainly serves as a buildup for bigger developments later in the story.

I'm hate-watching atp. They turned a 10/10 web novel into this slop. Sure, I get what they were going for in this episode. But the first half was totally unnecessary, and they invested more in that fight scene which... was pretty underwhelming tbh

The amount of things they fumbled here are astounding. They didn't have to use CGI in the fight scenes... And the event structure was... 🥲 They could've picked a better narrative to animate for this episode. Jasmine's backstory is a literal gold mine but they reduced it to a mere talking point? Why??? How???

I'm sad, the overall quality of this episode went way down compared to the last one which was actually pretty decent. They could have executed this better

I'm honestly pretty disappointed. The past few episodes have been improving, but this one was messy... The transitions from one thing to another felt out of place, and there are just too many unnecessary scenes. Maybe I'm just not attached to them, but it's getting pretty boring.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Three episodes from the season finale, this episode follows the politically charged 'The King's Day In Court' and functions as an emotional reset — grounding Arthur in his personal relationships before the season's final pressures arrive. It marks a tonal pivot from external conflict to internal reflection, a necessary exhale before what is likely to be a high-intensity closing stretch.
