Better than the previous ones. The backstory sharing was a nice bit here. And the monster animation wasn't bad too

If I dare say so, this episode was probably one of their best executed yet T^T altho it was still kinda fast. But the event structure was well laid out

There's really something about Arthur's internal monologue that I find can be done better but I can't put my finger on it. But anyway, good payoff in this episode from the past series of events. And tension build-up for the next is nicely done too

TBATE S2 Ep7 finally injects real tension into the series. Arthur’s dungeon survival, Lucas’ infuriating betrayal, and Sylvie’s emotional presence give the episode weight despite uneven animation. This gives the episode a darker vibe, stronger pacing, and a solid setup for the upcoming fallout ahead. The ending scene is intriguing, and you want to know what will happen next.

This episode isn't as intense since it deals with the aftermath of the last one. The focus on Elijah isn't bad—the kid is starting to grow on me. Lucas is annoying me as usual. The terrible CGI actually made the beasts look scary this time, LOL!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Landing at the midpoint of a 12-episode season, this episode arrives directly in the aftermath of Episode 6's betrayal arc, giving Arthur — and the audience — space to process the fallout before the story accelerates again. It bridges the wound of what came before with the consequences that begin surfacing in Episode 8, 'The King's Day In Court,' making it a critical emotional reset that the back half of the season likely depends on.
