EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

This episode follows The Fire-Rat Cloak, which centred on Maomao and Chou-u, an unusual garment, and clues tied to old illustrated books. It steps away from that thread for an independent illness case in the pleasure district, then closes by keeping Maomao's interest in the unresolved research materials alive. That lingering thread carries the season toward its next investigative case.
