It's just episode 2 and we're already on a "honeymoon"? bro moves FAST. I thought it’d chill but nah—lore dump + magic flex real quick. I’m still confused but hooked. Kinda messy pacing… it’s weirdly addicting. Ends on a wild cliffhanger too. Watch it, things are getting real.

Simon seems like a very cool and interesting character. I lol'd at the moments where Angelica punched Elias and blamed him for the mess in her shop. It was nice to see Chise getting to know who Elias actually associates himself with from time to time

Chise possess the power to see Sleigh Beggies. But from birth, she didn’t have a place to call home. So, in her journey, it will be emphasised whether she truly finds a place to call home or not. Magical notions and a swift flow introduce many new things in this episode.

The world opens slowly, filled with strange beauty and danger.
Chise begins adjusting, though nothing feels truly safe yet. 9.1/10

This episode is about Belonging. Chise is learning that she isn't broken she just belongs to a different world. It’s a very peaceful and pretty episode that builds the bond between Chise and Elias.

it deepens the world and the bond nicely. Pacing stays relaxed but starts layering in more magic and daily life. Animation continues to be gorgeous, especially the forest and house scenes with all the little magical details. We get more insight into Elias's strange personality.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the second episode of twenty-four, this installment builds directly on the College introduction from the premiere, shifting from setup to active immersion in Chise's new environment. It establishes the social landscape and key peer dynamics that will drive much of the season's interpersonal drama. Early groundwork is being laid here for the evolving mysteries surrounding both Chise and Elias within the College, positioning this as a foundational episode for arcs that will unfold across the full two-cour run.
