This hit way harder than I expected. thought it’d be another slow magic ep, then suddenly I’m sitting there like “oh...feelings exist.” Big emotions, gorgeous magic, and Chise finally owning her choices. Elias stays soft and tragic. I smiled like an idiot at the end. Must-watch.

Chise's meeting with Nevin again was so nice! And the phoenix transformation is vey beautifull!
Also, the memories from her past was a nice touch, so her mom also saw things, and she was pregnant, I wonder what happened to make her change.

Music and Diction really make this episode stand out. It gives a supreme touch of fantasy. Chise’s past relations gave her quite a trauma, which forces her to be more anxious and find it hard to open up to others. The animation used in this episode is so soothing for the soul.
