Tempest keeps growing, and so do the challenges! 🌱✨ Milim brings chaos and fun, while Rimuru’s influence starts turning heads. With clever politics, funny moments, and new mysteries brewing, this episode smoothly sets up exciting things ahead.

I'm loving how Milim is contributing to Tempest lmao such a wild character. The plot is progressing smoothly, pacing and event structure are nicely balanced too

Makes sense how the humans are wary of Rimuru but omg that Gobta scene was hilarious 🤣 Vesta's character is kinda underrated but his character writing is looking pretty good so far

Slower episode this time around, focused on the world-building as Rimuru's actions are steadily making waves. The brain plays here are pretty interesting. Clayman's side is getting more intriguing too

I think this episode is about setup and planning. And there’s also new conflict that might arise. Overall, the animation is good and the pacing is just right.

This episode is pure fun, especially Gobta's mini animation. And that 'You may call me lowly, but I'm stronger than you." is a total slap. The story is getting more and more interesting by the chaos of some characters, I can also sense mystery.

doesn’t focus on action, the animation remains colorful and clean, this episode contains political metting and stuff, and Gobta being a GOAT as usual just casual defeating monsters with ease

The most impactful in this episode for me is not just the actions packed scenes that happened. They've also included economics here. The way they talking about the potions. The ally country only gets what they need if Rimuru's country makes as well.

Milim trying to fit in while wearing a tiny school uniform was peak comedy, but the real drama was the political drama behind the scenes. This political types is not of my genre but still i liked it in its own way

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting past the two-thirds mark of the season, Episode 17 directly follows the upheaval caused by Demon Lord Milim's explosive arrival and channels that disruption into political consequences. Rimuru must now navigate the attention his growing nation has attracted from powerful factions, making this a critical bridge between the Milim arc and the darker threats consolidating in the background. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the escalating danger teased by the arc ahead.
