The saying, “Ignorance can be a dangerous thing,” came to mind again while watching this episode, just as it did when I first read the light novel. There is a lot going on and for anime-only viewers, I can imagine this episode being an emotional roller coaster of shock, confusion, and worry. Without giving away any major spoilers, all I can say is that there is no need to worry too much. The next episode should explain what happened to Chloe and Hinata, but the wait is definitely going to be an agonizing one. Unfortunately, knowing that the answers are coming doesn’t make the wait any easier. If anything, this episode makes the wait for the next episode feel even more agonizing.
