EPISODE REVIEWS

Edge of seat for the entire time. Falmuth is crazy for this but if you think about it, wars started for less in the irl past ksjdfksh

The episode title is fitting. Rimuru was giri giri safe but we can't say the same for Tempest aaaaa I can't imagine the stress of how to start dealing with this event if I were RImuru

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of Season 2's first cour, 'Despair' is the fulcrum the entire season pivots on, tensions that escalated through the preceding episodes, particularly 'The Beauty Makes Her Move,' now crash down with full force. This episode represents the lowest point for Rimuru and Tempest, serving as the necessary emotional foundation before Episode 8, 'Hope,' begins the shift toward recovery and retaliation. Everything before this built the setup; everything after will be shaped by the decisions made in its wake.
