Episode Context

As the Season 2 premiere, this episode transitions Rimuru from the teaching arc that closed out the first season back into full-time leadership, reestablishing the political landscape and Tempest's expanding ambitions. It plants the seeds for the season's central diplomatic and military threads by introducing Eurazania as a key player. Everything here is foundational, expect the alliances and tensions set up in this opener to escalate significantly across the remaining eleven episodes.
