The theme at this point can become repetitive and tedious at times, and in this case the references and dialogue have less comic impact than in previous episodes.

This was pretty funny. I like how self-aware the characters are and how they lowkey make fun of anime stereotypes. 🤣 I don't really know much about the game, but the activities they do at the end are also fun.

The episode opens with the characters discussing the familiar tropes commonly found in a school-setting. This time, the club’s focus is another type of sport, though it differs from the previous episodes in that it’s more mentally demanding than physically demanding. One thing worth mentioning is the translation. A poor translation would probably identify the game as chess, even though the pieces and board clearly don’t match the actual game. It’s one of those details where a bad translation can completely change the context of what you’re watching.
