Episode Context

As the series opener of a four-episode run, there is no prior episode to draw from, this is where everything begins. It establishes Ichirou and Yuuko as the central dynamic and introduces the magical framework the remaining three episodes will operate within. What happens here directly conditions the stakes and relationships that the rest of the series will exploit.
