EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode 1 of TenPuru is exactly what it looks like: a mid-2000s-style harem ecchi comedy that hasn't updated its playbook in two decades. The animation is decent, the protagonist has a slightly more interesting hook than most (his self-loathing about inherited lust is a genuine character trait), and the fanservice is competently executed for its target audience. But the writing is lazy, the jokes are tired, and the emotional core is nonexistent. It's not offensively bad—it's just forgettable. If you're a diehard harem fan who misses the Love Hina era, you might get some nostalgic enjoyment out of this. Everyone else can skip it without missing anything.
