This epsiode elaborates on the setting's worldbuilding and the adversities Seina's has to face in order to fit in through a pretty low stakes setting, being Seriyo's physical training classes. We also get compelling drama between Seina and Kiriko. Pretty good epsiode all around!
Yamada's character development here felt forced and a little cringe. The pace was slow, and it did push the main storyline forward, but nothing interesting happened yet that could hook us. Overall, a slow burn with forced comedy.
the pressure mounts as Seina faces the reality that without the GP body enhancement procedure he physically cannot keep up with the demands of the academy. this episode does a good job of grounding the fantasy by reminding you that Seina is genuinely an ordinary human boy who got accidentally drafted into a galaxy-spanning organization. his determination to push through regardless is the kind of quiet underdog energy that makes him more likeable than a typical harem protagonist. the body enhancement subplot opens up interesting character dynamics with the medical staff.
