Sasami is just trying to enjoy some shrine games while Tenchi playing tour guide role, but the rest of the gang completely hijacked the whole event lmao. Tenchi and Sasami couldn't even get a quiet day out.
Although this episode is set at a festival and doesn’t add anything to the anime’s overarching story, I think it’s worth watching because the characters are actively involved – particularly Ayeka and Ryoko setting up stalls at the festival – and the scenes are genuinely funny.
If the story is set in a festival, it would certainly be fun to watch. But with Ryoko, Ayeka, and Mihoshi opening a booth at the festival, there are bound to be some twists and turns. That's precisely what makes this episode have a comedic plot, even though some scenes feel ordinary. This anime shouldn't be taken seriously.
