Ryoko getting curious about the local monster legend and dragging Tenchi into the shrine cave is hilarious. The cast dynamic getting bigger and bigger keeps making the anime better.
A new female character named Washu appears. Perhaps her character will be as troublesome as Ryoko. In this episode there is a funny scene that made me laugh, namely when Ryoko and Tenchi enter the cave to find out where the ghost is in the cave. The journey made me laugh because there are some writings that feel very comedic. But the rest of the story in this episode is quite ordinary.
This episode doesn’t contribute significantly to the plot, and whilst it introduces an interesting new character and the comedy is of acceptable quality —albeit unnecessary at times—, the episode can be considered a filler.
