The dynamic between Tenchi, Ryoko, and Mihoshi gets established so fast. Loved the classic 90's animation and overall sci-fi comedy vibes. Great way to start the anime and the pacing is good.
The anime has a fairly high standard of animation for the 1990s. The first episode introduces the main characters (with Tenchi at the centre), with a touch of comedy and scenes that unfold rather quickly. Even so, it’s a pleasant start to the anime.
Even though this anime was produced in the 90s, the animation quality is still enjoyable to watch. I think the pace of episode 1 is a bit slow to watch now, so that by the middle of the episode the hype has decreased a bit. Besides that, maybe the plot is not the type that women generally like, namely harem, but overall it is still interesting to follow. Meanwhile, the character development has not occurred significantly.
