Episode Context

Directly following 'Kagato Attacks!' where the primary antagonist's threat reached critical mass, this fifth episode (of six) functions as the dramatic climax of the original OVA series. It channels all the character dynamics and stakes built across the previous installments into one propulsive confrontation. The resolution and emotional denouement are reserved for the finale, 'The Night Before the Carnival,' making this the essential action peak before the curtain call.
