This episode really makes you smile because of how very human like Takagi in this episode and how you can guess what she is thinking with the subtle expression changes and blushing. That is why I like the idea of their deal in the candy store that prevented Nishikata from lying which allowed us to see a Takagi that is caught off-guard.

They also did great in focusing on romance since this is a valentines episode while staying true to the plot with Takagi giving Nishikata some mind games.

The episode was overall relaxing that does not bombard you with information and instead refreshes you after a break from the first season. The character expressions was good engaging which is really important.
