Episode Context

As episode eight of eight, 'Sisters' serves as the definitive closing statement for this anthology adaptation of Fujimoto's early one-shot works. Where previous episodes ranged across action, comedy, supernatural chaos, and romance, this finale deliberately pivots to a stripped-down, realistic family drama, a tonal counterpoint that reframes everything before it. It's a fitting capstone that highlights the full breadth of Fujimoto's creative range and leaves the anthology on its most emotionally resonant note.
