EPISODE REVIEWS
As someone who doesn't explore the spooky realm often, this opening episode frames the "veil" in a much more positive light. Hope and doom feel interchangeable, but this twist brings a certain intellectual intrigue to the show. A little slow to start, but mysteries always are.
Hear me out! This is a really interesting and unique anime genre, at least from what I've seen so far! I thought it kinda gave me an Alice in Borderlands vibe, but it was the other way around! It contains mysteries that need to be solved and somehow makes us feel involved too. The pace is steady, not too fast, so we can catch up or take a break during the episode!
One would first think that it'd be your generic isekai given the first few seconds (but it's not really that), likely focusing on cute rediscovery. You'd think otherwise, just as the episode progresses. I like the way the mystery was kept in between and have them naturally blend with what seems to be the prelude for an even more interesting plot rather than what it initially try to project. This ep is a perfect introduction for people who love being curious (and confused subtly).
