Below, Shiori and the SI-VIS members look up, bewildered, questioning his sudden defiance after he once saved her. Even the control room technicians, watching the live feed, are confused; Apostol's usual power sources are gone, yet he persists. Media and Amedia acknowledge his formidable strength, anticipating a challenging confrontation.
The Ideological Challenge
Apostol descends, landing heavily, his words burning with resolve. He declares this confrontation will prove the righteousness of his vision, even if it means extinguishing all who oppose him to save XENOS. His red eyes glow with conviction as blue energy erupts around him. He issues a stark challenge: defeat him, or he will destroy them all.
Acceptance and Defiance
From a distance, Samael watches, resigned, affirming Apostol's unshakeable nature. Apostol then commands Media and Crius to fight for their own beliefs. Meanwhile, Ryosuke places a comforting hand on Shiori's shoulder, offering silent reassurance. He then faces Apostol, declaring that they are no longer the same SI-VIS he once knew. Mu, ever bold, challenges Apostol to withstand their song, a clear gauntlet thrown down.

The stage shimmers with golden energy, a beacon for all to witness this clash of wills.
Song and Struggle
The performance battle erupts with dazzling force. Mu and Shiori sing with powerful, intertwining voices, their expressions shifting between confidence and overwhelmed emotion. On the ground, Ryosuke and Kyoya engage Apostol in fierce combat, their blows parried by his skill and mechanical weapon. The energy of both the song and the fight creates a vibrant, overwhelming spectacle.
Kyoya's Personal Fight
Apostol visibly struggles under the combined assault of song and physical attacks. Kyoya charges forward, his eyes burning with resolve, declaring his intention to fight for his feelings for Yosuke. He demands Apostol fight with his fists, meeting him in a raw, explosive clash. Ryosuke supports him, stating it's not just Yosuke, but everyone's belief fueling them.
The Fusion of Idea
Apostol is pushed back, finally smiling with a grudging respect. The audiences cheer, now fully invested in SI-VIS's performance. Shiori channels her golden energy, leading the group in a powerful chorus as the idea graphs on the control room screens surge, indicating a fusion of energies. Samael, Crius, Mu, Elpis, and Siren all contribute to this wave of collective power. Apostol's mechanical weapon disintegrates, his defiance giving way to awe as he realizes the magnitude of their unity.
Apostol's Enlightenment
Engulfed in golden light, Apostol ascends through a swirling vortex of stars and rings. The SI-VIS members sing a joyous, triumphant chorus, their faces radiant. Apostol looks down, his expression softening, acknowledging their power, a faint smile gracing his lips. He recognizes their performance as a chaotic yet potent force. A golden pillar of light descends from the transforming object above, gently spreading across the mountain, signifying a profound, positive change.
The City Awakens
Technicians in the control room erupt in cheers; the mission is a success. The Commander approaches Media with news. Apostol, now humbled, kneels before Ryosuke, accepting his defeat and questioning why he was spared. Ryosuke, his face alight with joy, reaffirms their purpose was never destruction. Then, a message on Ryosuke's phone, confirmed by Shiori, reveals the miraculous: a lost city has been revived, its stolen 'idea' returned. Kyoya and the cadets weep tears of joy, and Ryosuke sees a vision of Yosuke, triumphant and supportive.

Media orders immediate evacuation, realizing this threat is beyond their control.

Apostol, resolute, promises Ryosuke he will protect the XENOS people and absolve them of his past actions. He journeys into space, preparing a powerful blast to destroy the plummeting ship. Unexpectedly, Yosuke (now revealed as Samael) appears, engaging Apostol in a wry, almost friendly exchange, acknowledging their mutual predicament. Together, with a reluctant understanding, they unleash their combined power, destroying the ship in a blinding flash. EPISODE REVIEWS

A very satisfying ending for this series. I'm glad I watched it! The final battle may be a bit generic with the power of friendship but I think they executed it well, all things considered. There aren't many shows nowadays that show the epilogue at the end, I'm glad this show did! It was a very good way of wrapping up the show! Also, Marie looks hella good with that hairstyle! I can wholeheartedly recommend this episode! The visuals and soundtracks are especially GREAT!

That was a really great way to finish the show. I couldn't stand Weisheit at first, but his pure relentless drive made him such an increadible villain in the end. It was a nice touch showing that even someone as evil as him used to have a shred of humanity left in them. Definitely a great anime.

Studio 8-Bit really went all out with the visuals for this final episode. The animation is incredibly smooth, featuring 3D mecha combat transitions that feel heavy, fast, and packed with stunning neon particle aesthetics. The theme song accompanying the crucial moments in this episode successfully pumps up the adrenaline while also drawing out tears.
