One of my all-time favorite anime movies. It has a strong emotional depth, the story is simple, yet well-written, fluid animation, and some of the most amazing action scenes ever crafted. An absolute spectacle that's worth your time if you haven't seen it yet.

Far from a novel story or presentation (lone sword guy is involved with a kid who is, for better or worse chosen because of divine blood) but has some great visuals and fights without wasting too much time. It is a great starter into historical themed anime.
