I did not predict that twist! Something about how interconnected the world is reminds be of apothecary diaries. I do think that people who enjoy this will enjoy, and vice-versa.

Episode Context

As the second half of the 'Garden of Happiness' two-parter, Episode 6 marks a tonal pivot point at the quarter-mark of this 24-episode run, transitioning from Naotsugu's grounded search for his missing brother into metaphysical territory that deepens the show's supernatural mythology. The previous episode established the investigative setup; this one tears through the surface into something far stranger. The revelations seeded here are positioned to reshape the direction of Jinya and Naotsugu's journey going forward into the season's second quarter.
