I actually really enjoyed that domestic little scene with Kirito and Asuna cooking the rare rabbit, it was a much-needed breather from all the fighting. Seeing Asuna out of her uniform like that, just being a normal person, kinda made me feel like they could actually have a life outside of this death game. But then that ending hits, and it just rips all that hope away, making me wonder if any peace they find is just setting them up for a worse fall.
