Legendary historic episode

Sugou is the absolute worst. He is just a gross coward hiding behind his business suit. You can see how much he enjoys torturing Kazuto while he can't do anything to stop him

Episode Context

Episode 15 marks the definitive end of the Aincrad arc's aftermath and the beginning of the Fairy Dance arc, making it one of the most pivotal transition points in the entire 25-episode season. The previous episode wrapped up the life-or-death virtual stakes, and now the series redirects toward new conflicts rooted in the real world and unresolved fates. This episode establishes the emotional and narrative foundations, particularly around Kirito, Suguha, and Asuna's situation, that will drive the second half of the season.
