📖 SYNOPSIS

"Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" centers on Karen Kohiruimaki, a college student who feels self-conscious about her 183-centimeter height and struggles with social interactions. She finds refuge in the virtual reality game Gun Gale Online, creating the avatar Ren, who is less than 150 centimeters tall and sports a full pink outfit. In this world, Ren encounters Pitohui, a striking, brown-skinned female player, and the two quickly become friends. Their bond deepens, but Pitohui pushes Ren to join Squad Jam, a team-based battle royale competition within the Bullet of Bullets tournament, setting the stage for intense combat and strategic gameplay. The series explores themes of escapism, identity, and the contrast between the real and virtual worlds.
