The story is getting more interesting, and it’s not as confusing anymore. A lot is happening to Kirito while he’s in the Underworld, and I can’t wait to piece everything together. Overall, it was just a wholesome episode.

Episode Context

Following the disorienting premiere 'Underworld,' which dropped Kirito into this mysterious virtual realm with no explanation, 'The Demon Tree' slows down to establish the rules, relationships, and societal structures that will drive the entire 24-episode arc. Eugeo's introduction here is critical, his bond with Kirito becomes the emotional backbone of Alicization. This episode directly sets up 'The End Mountains,' where the story begins moving beyond the village and the real journey takes shape.
