Sweet Reincarnation

This show takes the standard Isekai tropes and plays them with a level of honesty and groundedness that is hard to come by (and by this I mean any groundedness at all). There are some concerns about this not being a cooking show, and that there are politics and war instead. I see this as a strength; I appreciated the sort of bait-and-switch of expecting to see a MC living in leisure and doing what they love, but instead seeing them being confronted by the responsibility of being born noble. Desserts are left mostly in the background but they are used as a plot device here and there. I like to think of this as Ascendance of a Bookworm but with desserts instead. That is probably the highest praise I can give an Isekai series. Overall, this is an enjoyable show. The elements of Isekai that make them bad are mostly absent -- I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a big prejudice against the genre.

Sebenarnya saya berharap lebih dari arc war. Agak antiklimaks sensasinya.

Adegan pembuka selalu lucu.

Adegan pertamanya emang lucu banget.

I absolutely loved it! They say revenge is sweet, and this episode was just so awesome and hilarious. I'm completely in love with the animation and the plot.

An action packed episode! I absolutely loved how fluid the animation was during the battle and the skills on display. Plus, the comedy scenes never disappoint.

I absolutely loved it; this episode was just so heartwarming to watch. Seeing them together gets me so excited! On the other hand, I really love Pastry’s cleverness, and the plot is getting more and more interesting.

Poor Pastry, there's just no escape for him! This episode is so interesting yet sad at the same time because Lady Licorice is being so kind. The events of this episode really leave you in suspense.

I absolutely loved the episode! Pastry is such a daredevil standing up to his father's authority. Plus, Lady Licorice and Pastry make such a cute couple, I just love how innocent their relationship is.
