Episode Context

Sitting at episode 7 of 12, this installment marks the transition out of the first half of the season, a point where the series typically deepens its character dynamics and expands the world Rin is traveling through. The groundwork laid in earlier episodes, including Rin establishing her footing as a banished saintess finding freedom on the road, feeds directly into whatever new territory this episode explores. With five episodes remaining after this one, the story is beginning to position itself for a meaningful late-season payoff.
