Episode Context

As Episode 1 of 51, this is pure table-setting, nothing precedes it, and everything flows from it. It establishes Karin's dual life and introduces the core cast and premise that the remaining 50 episodes will build on. What happens here directly seeds Episode 2, where Karin begins reckoning with the responsibilities tied to her new abilities.
