EPISODE REVIEWS

Changed my life

It’s a soft yet dramatic story about family, love, and emotional growth.

Episode Context

As the tenth and final episode, 'Summer Storm' follows the introspective 'Rainy Season' arc where Haru wrestled with his feelings and Ren continued adjusting to life in Japan, now an external force tests the stability they've built. The season has methodically traced the Kaidou family's formation from Ren's arrival through domestic routines to emotional reckonings, and this finale crystallizes those themes by reintroducing Haruko as both a bridge to the past and a challenge to the present. Rather than closing the book, it deliberately sets the stage for Season 2's deeper exploration of these family dynamics.
