Episode Context

After Episodes 1-2 grounded viewers in Hairi Takahara's arrival and adjustment to Torishirojima Island, Episode 3 marks the series' first major character introduction with Kamome Kushima, expanding the cast and narrative scope early in this 26-episode run. Her treasure-hunting quest gives Hairi a purpose beyond settling in and begins establishing the deeper character bonds that will likely drive the story forward. As the show is still in its early stretch, this episode functions as a gateway into the first real narrative thread of the season.
