EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 7 continues the series' pattern of dedicating individual episodes to each core Sumikko Gurashi character, following Episode 6's spotlight on Penguin? and its identity crisis. Tonkatsu's story of self-acceptance deepens the show's running theme that every character carries a sense of not quite fitting in. This sets the stage for Episode 8, which shifts focus to Tokage and its own unique background.
