On every campus, you'll find someone like Jun Kanda — good-looking, charming, never short on company. But casual hookups have left him feeling empty, and he's starting to wonder if there's something more out there. The answer, it turns out, might be right where he started: his childhood friends, the Shinbashi sisters. There's Reina, warm and gentle; Lina, athletic and full of energy; and Mina, a redhead who'll argue with you just to keep things interesting. Three completely different personalities, and Jun has history with all of them. This 2-episode OVA from 2001 is adapted from a visual novel by Ather, and it carries that source material's structure well — each sister feels distinct rather than interchangeable, and the story takes time to establish who these people actually are before anything else happens. It's not deep drama, but it's not purely mechanical either. There's genuine warmth in how Jun reconnects with each of them. If you've watched Amorous Sisters or Triangle Blue and appreciated when a hentai OVA bothers to give its characters actual personalities, this scratches a similar itch. Sisters: The Last Day of Summer fans might also find the sibling dynamic familiar. The animation holds up reasonably well for its era, with clean character designs and smooth sequences. Two episodes means it doesn't overstay its welcome — it sets up its premise, follows through, and leaves you with something that felt like it had a point to make beyond the obvious.
