The first arc is now approaching its climax, and things are really starting to get interesting. Catching a glimpse of the MC’s power is always exciting, and the cliffhanger at the end was so unexpected that it really makes me want to see what happens next.

Our first meaningful relationship development between Kojou and Himeragi as they begin their first cooperation in investigating the incident from previous episode, showing their almost unnatural chemistry. Pacing is a little bit all over the place but a fine episode nonetheless.

This ep is a total power trip and the payoff for the first arc is finally here. We get the lore and character depth needed to understand Kojou’s role as the Fourth Progenitor, and that final showdown is actually insane.
