This is certainly one of the weaker arcs of the anime. I still enjoyed the setup and concept, but the conclusion feels a bit lacking. Maybe that’s because it’s meant to be part of a larger arc, but overall, I didn’t enjoy it as much.

I honestly thought it was going to be a mid-episode, Kojou and co gathers like usual and began to play their own role to help, resolve the conflict, and Yuuma joins the club after but I really let my guard down. You have to see the EP until the last second, even the after credit.

This ep is a total adrenaline spike and the island vibes are peak. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand the Himeragi-Kojou dynamic under pressure.
