What a great way to start the series! The plot premise was well explained, the setting is interesting, and the character designs are a feast for the eyes. I also really liked the animation! I’m not usually a fan of fanservice, but for some reason, I enjoyed it in this anime.

This episode greatly served its purpose to set us up with surface information regarding the world background, it's denizen and our protagonist himself. Intimacy between characters do feel a little bit rushed but considering the genre, I find that completely reasonable. 6.5/10.

This ep is a total setup and the urban fantasy vibes are immaculate. We finally get the lore and character depth needed to understand Kojou’s life as the Fourth Progenitor, and Himeragi is already fire.
