EPISODE REVIEWS

This one had a quiet and mysterious feel that I really liked. It focused more on character growth than action, which made the slower pace work for me. There was a sense that something bigger was being set up, and I liked that. A good one for the slower side of the story.

It was a fascinating ep as one of the crucial characters in Ryu's ability was in contact with him. I also thought he was one of the characters in KoF, though, but missing a bottle in hand. Well, the animation was superb, particularly in that ending scene with Chun Li and I'm hopeful that the animation should be like that in the upcoming fighting scenes.

Woooo some Chun Li action at the end, way to wrap it up. And if you know anything about Street Fighter (I don't know) and Ryu, you'll know that the main portion of this episode was pretty much an origin for him. I hate that we only got a glimpse of it but it was great while it lasted. The show has impressed me so far and I'm really liking it. Her shopping spree was pretty funny too!
