This was one of the most emotional episodes so far. I liked how the main conflict felt personal and gave the episode more weight than a usual fight. The tension worked really well, and I could feel how much was at stake without the episode needing to overdo it. The emotional side of the show worked really well here.
So how will Ryu and Chun Li snap out of it? The pacing in this ep was extremely slow and the main plot of the last ep still remains constant until the end. The spotlight was on that test room, while the other side plots were not shown. I was so disappointed with this as the finale was drawing near. And so far, repetitive scenes were present.
This is definitely leading up to something similar like the cave encounter where they had to fight each other. Both Ryu and Ken are refining their power for quite a while now (like at least 50% of the episode) so it better have a payoff. I still don't like that Vega dude laughing 24/7 but it was pretty funny when the scientist dude tried to laugh as well and was called out. Definitely a stand out moment from all this annoying Vega laughing.
