EPISODE REVIEWS

This was a pretty brutal episode, and I liked how intense the fight felt without dragging on. The buildup worked well and made the action feel more satisfying when things started turning around. I also liked that it kept the tension high all the way through. I’d like to see more fights with this kind of intensity.

As a game fanatic of this series, I really appreciated the ending scenes with Bison, Ryu, and Ken. Those were definitely cut from the game itself. Bison's oozing visuals were exactly the same, as well as the Hadou Ken and Sho Ryu Ken voices! The battle cry visuals on Ken were kind of petty and comical with that drawing, but the match was pretty intense and bloody. Ryo making too many yin-yang gestures and repetitive was a waste of frames, too.

I just wanted the fight to end and instead we get a massive cliffhanger for a part that's actually supposed to be good. Lame! And there were like three things going on at once including this Bison dude and Ryu. I gotta say, not the greatest fight of this show thus far but maybe there will be a good payoff (which might not last seeing the funny plans being made up by Bison).
