This episode is awesome. The fanservice at the hot springs was wild, but Chise trying to act like a normal girl completely stole the show for me. The comedy felt so natural and the group's dynamic is just getting better

Alright, now I'm lost for words. I might just go schizo at this point because what did I just watch? I thought nothing could possibly top whatever we've witnessed so far... But it did. A godamn sci-fi space mecha battle shounen episode and they want all in, like an old anime that would air in the early days. It was cool but also completely random to the actual events of the show. I can't say it's a terrible episode but it's definitely weird. It's a lot of things at once.

This episode takes the "show in a show" approach and is essentially a parody of the mecha genre.Unless you're a huge mecha fan, definitely skip this episode, as it has absolutely no relevance to the plot at all.
