Episode Context

Following Karinka Mark II's awakening in episode 7, this episode serves as the critical introduction point for the full Steel Angel trio dynamic, establishing the rivalries and bonds that will carry through the season's final act. Positioned at the two-thirds mark, it bridges the setup-heavy first half with the escalating developments ahead, directly feeding into episode 9's 'Part Rain, Part Shine, and a Rainbow' where these newly formed relationships face their next evolution.
