Uruka’s father sends a giant robot to "rescue" Nako from Kurumi, resulting in the series' first major mecha battle.

Episode Context

Coming off the establishment of Nako as Kurumi's master in episode 2, this third installment shifts the focus to how their relationship functions in a social context, specifically the school environment. It's still early-season worldbuilding, introducing character dynamics and side players like Uruka who will likely become more significant as the 12-episode run progresses. This episode lays essential groundwork for the interpersonal complexities that the series will build on in its middle stretch.
